New Years is just around the corner! That’s why we’ve put together our top safety suggestions for going into 2020 the right way.

Always plan ahead

Plan your journey appropriately in advance. This means knowing your exact destination and route. In London – some stations may be closed, and a few routes may be completely closed off to pedestrians. So, it’s best to double check on how you will navigate on New Year’s Eve.

Cash & Card

Ensure you keep your oyster card with you. Also, don’t forget to keep your bank card and a little bit of cash too. This can help in case of an emergency or if you end up getting stranded somewhere.

Crowd Safety

If you are planning to go to a ticketed event or generally a busy and crowded area. Be sure to be mindful of your surroundings and remain alert to how others are behaving around you. Also, keep your belongings with you at all times.

Don’t push, keep calm and most of all enjoy!

If any of your friends seem to be intoxicated – ensure they do not drive back – but use some other means of transport.

Fireworks Safety

If you are conducting fireworks yourself be sure to plan ahead, read the instructions carefully and only buy fireworks which have the CE mark on them. After lighting fireworks, back up to a safe distance and do not throw or point fireworks towards other individuals.

If you have a New Year party approaching soon and you are worried about the security management of such an occasion mentally, physically or emotionally. Then we strongly suggest the benefits of hiring a G3 Security guard. Our officers are exceptionally experienced and G3 provide our clients with outstanding customer service. To discuss your requirements further do not hesitate to get in touch and speak to a member of our team.
